Setting up the Kivi IKEA Grow Cabinet is straightforward and requires minimal tools. With a Phillips screwdriver and a drill (we provide the drill bit), you can have your cabinet ready in just 1-1.5 hours.

Assembly Steps: 

  1. Assemble the IKEA Cabinet: Start by assembling the cabinet frame using the IKEA Platsa instructions, leaving out the doors and hinges for now. (10 minutes)
  2. Set Up the Grow Tent: Assemble the grow tent and place it inside the cabinet. (10 minutes)
  3. Mark and Drill Ventilation Holes: Trace the air sleeves of the tent onto the cabinet, remove the tent, then drill the holes where you've marked. (15 minutes)
  4. Install Ventilation Attachments: Fix the ventilation parts to the holes you've drilled. (5 minutes)
  5. Reinsert the Tent and Setup Ventilation System: Place the grow tent back inside and connect the air filter and extractor to the exit hole. (15 minutes)
  6. Install the Grow Light: Set the grow light inside the tent and run the cables through the air entry hole. (5 minutes)
  7. Finish with Door and Hinges: Finally, attach the hinges and the door. (10 minutes)
  8. Install the optional Smart Lock: Find the right spot and connect it with the provided double-sided tape. (10-15 minutes)
